Our hotel with a pool in South Tyrol: naturally refreshing

Immerse yourself in the mountain world of the Dolomites

After an eventful day in the mountains, there is probably nothing better than going for a swim at our hotel with a pool in South Tyrol. Submerge yourself and enjoy a moment of silence. After a few seconds, reappear and just let yourself drift in front of this dream scenery. At our hotel in South Tyrol, you can experience all the power of the crystal-clear Dolomite water that gently envelops and carries your body. Both our natural bathing pond and our indoor and outdoor pool with water jets are filled with 30 °C fresh spring water and are chlorine-free. The water is cleaned using a salt electrolysis plant. We are committed to your well-being and protecting the environment.

Sweating according to old traditions: our sauna area

We also make use of the power of nature in our sauna area. We have been inspired by our ancestors’ knowledge of ancient healing and have built very special saunas in our hotel at the Catinaccio/Rosengarten, specifically, the rustic hay barn sauna, which stands in the middle of the lovely Alpine meadow and captivates with its magnificent view of the Catinaccio/Rosengarten, as well as the bubbly new saltwater outdoor whirlpool and the new glass sauna with panoramic view to the Rosengarten mountain. The Swiss stone pine sauna with a temperature between 85 °C and 95 °C and its high content of beneficial oils is a real boon. The aroma of fresh herbs in the steam bath bewitches the senses, with its temperature of 42 °C to 46 °C, the steam bath cares for your skin and hair, frees the respiratory system, and purifies the body. We are particularly proud of our Argilla clay sauna, a 100% ecological dome made of clay with a round stove in the middle. Due to its construction, our clay sauna reflects a high amount of natural infrared radiation. The temperature is approx. 95 °C, with a humidity of approx. 75%. A visit to the new Salt Stube, your place to take a breather, is a healing experience: Breathe in, breathe out, and feel the wonderful effect of the inhalation.

In peace lies strength: our Silent Zone

After a soothing dip, revitalise your senses in the experience showers, the Kneipp stream, the Kneipp basin, or in the crushed ice grotto before getting into the new saltwater outdoor whirlpool or lying down on the new infrared loungers or on one of the waterbeds or hay beds in our relaxation room. Our ancestors already knew about the healing power of hay. After a strenuous day working on the high Alpine pastures, they used to set up camp for the night in a haystack in order to regain their strength. See for yourself, just how relaxing resting on a bed of hay can be. You will feel like you’ve been reborn – even if you’ve hiked all day long. For refreshment, you will find fresh herbal teas, juices, apples, and of course, our Plafötsch spring water at the Vitalbar all day long.
