The Tiers cable car: rates and opening times

The mountain lifts are open for their summer season! From 18 May to 3 November, the Tiers cable car – just a short distance away from the Cyprianerhof – transports you up to the Frommer Alm mountain hut on Mt Catinaccio/Rosengarten, covering around four kilometres in just seven minutes. And once you reach the top: Your adventure in nature can begin! As a guest of the Cyprianerhof, you get tickets for the cable car at a special rate. Simply show your Val d’Ega/Eggental Guest Pass or Tiers Guest Pass when buying the Mountain Pass.

The scenery isn’t all there is to see here; the valley and mountain stations of the lift are also a special sight. They were built subtly into the mountain so that only the entrances and exits are visible. And riding the cable car is an experience in and of itself: It has a “roof terrace” – an open-top upper level – which has earned it the name “Cabrio-Bahn” (cabriolet cable car).
